About Us

Outdoor performance area at Deerfield Elks Lodge.
Outdoor performance area at Deerfield Elks Lodge.

Pull up a stool at the Deerfield Elks Lodge and you'll understand pretty quickly why members keep coming back. The bar area runs a pool table and a shuffleboard table, drinks are priced like they should be, and the crowd is the kind that remembers your name the second time you walk in. One recent visitor arrived as a newcomer and left feeling like extended family, spending hours on the vintage 1994 Soccer pinball machine without anyone rushing them along.

The lodge sits at 642 Garton Rd in Bridgeton, and it punches well above its zip code when it comes to what's on offer. Beyond the bar, a full ballroom opens up for parties, receptions, and community events, giving South Jersey families a real venue without the downtown price tag.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been serving American communities for over 150 years, and this lodge carries that tradition forward in a way that feels genuine rather than ceremonial. Ratings hold steady at 4.5 out of 5 across member reviews, and the word that comes up again and again is simple: welcoming.

What We Offer

The lodge gives members a low-key reason to get out of the house any night of the week. Shoot free pool, challenge someone to a round of shuffleboard, or step up to the dartboard and see what you've got. Cold drinks come at prices that won't make you wince, and the food menu keeps things casual and affordable.

When the occasion calls for something bigger, the ballroom handles it. Birthday milestones, wedding receptions, retirement parties, fundraisers, and community gatherings all fit comfortably in the space. Members also gain access to the broader Elks national network, including scholarship programs, veteran support initiatives, and charitable giving that puts money back into the local community.

Membership is the key that unlocks everything. The application process is straightforward, dues are reasonable, and the return on investment shows up every time you walk through the door to a room full of people who are genuinely glad you came.

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
